My name is Christine Pannekoek, and I have been a lawyer for over 27 years. After working for 25 years at a law firm in Breda, I established myself as an independent lawyer in September 2023. Starting from January 1, 2024, I entered into a collaboration with my former colleague Jurgen Hooymayers.
In my practice, I primarily focus on employment law and personal injury cases. With my extensive experience and expertise, I can quickly assess the needs of the client. This may involve providing advice, assisting in negotiations, and, if necessary, initiating legal proceedings. It is always a challenge for me to find and offer the best solution for my clients, whether they are businesses or individuals.
What I find fascinating about working in employment law is that it is a dynamic field. There are constant developments, not only in the law but also in jurisprudence. I guide both employers and employees through various legal issues, including dismissal cases, reorganizations, absenteeism, and reintegration, as well as questions related to employer liability.
In recent years, my involvement in employer liability cases has led me to also specialize in personal injury law. In this capacity, I assist victims who have suffered injuries due to medical errors, accidents, or assaults. In these cases, I consider it crucial to also take into account the human aspect of the situation.
I am registered in the Legal Areas Register of the Dutch Bar Association for the legal area of Employment Law. This registration obliges one to collect 10 education points per jurisdiction every year, according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
In both employment law and personal injury cases, I always consider the human aspect. This means, among other things, that I prefer to settle cases through mutual agreement with the opposing party. In this way, the parties themselves have influence on the outcome of their case. If necessary, legal proceedings will be initiated.
My office is located in the beautiful rural area of Wouwse Plantage and has excellent access to the highway. There is parking space available at the office.
I provide my services based on an hourly rate. Unlike many offices, I do not increase it with a surcharge for office expenses. However, it is possible that specific costs related to your case, such as court fees, bailiff costs, etc., will be passed on.
My services are subject to general terms and conditions, which you can read here.
In the event that you are dissatisfied with my services and we cannot resolve it amicably, I follow the complaints procedure recommended by the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA), which you can find here. I am affiliated with the Disputes Committee for Lawyers.
